The iPQ is based on the Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ), one of the most widely used measures of behavioural style in the world. The questionnaire asks you about your preferences – the responses show the way you see your own behaviour, rather than how another person might describe them.

The iPQ gives you a block of three statements. Your task is to choose one statement which is most like your behaviour in work situations and one statement which is least like your behaviour. You should indicate your choices by clicking the appropriate button in the columns marked ‘M’ for Most and ‘L’ for Least.
The first statement in the example has been completed: The person has indicated that they most like helping people and are least likely to look at things positively.
But that's just the example - you should pick the statements that are most like you! Remember that there are no right and wrong answers.
